Our Story
Simpli Baked’s story began in a small bakery in Limerick, where founders Kieran and Sean honed their craft under the watchful eye of their father. As a fifth-generation baker, Kieran deeply values the traditions and skills passed down through his family. Though their father never got to see Simpli Baked’s success, his influence is woven into every step of their journey.

Before starting Simpli Baked, Kieran spent time internationally selling Irish food, an experience that opened his eyes to new opportunities. Through a mutual customer, he met his business partner Niels, and in 2008, Simpli Baked was born. What started as a modest ambition to build a team of 15-20 people quickly exceeded expectations, with the company growing steadily year after year.
In 2015, Simpli Baked faced one of its greatest challenges when a fire destroyed their factory in Clara. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the team’s resilience turned this setback into a new chapter. With the overwhelming support of customers and the local community, they rebuilt their factory in just 300 days, moving operations to Tullamore. This period marked a pivotal moment as the company embraced its identity as Ireland’s first gourmet wraphouse.

Kieran credits the company’s success to its exceptional team and collaborative culture. For Simpli Baked, the best ingredients and state-of-the-art equipment mean little without the right people bringing it all together. The focus on creating an enjoyable workplace has been essential to maintaining their momentum and passion.
Nestled in the heart of Ireland’s midlands, Simpli Baked has become synonymous with quality and innovation. From working closely with mills to source the finest flour to perfecting recipes with their ‘wrap masters’, every step of the process is meticulously overseen. This dedication ensures consistently perfect wraps and thin crust pizza bases that delight customers worldwide.

Driven by a passion for flavor, Kieran and the team at Simpli Baked have traveled the globe to draw inspiration from diverse cuisines. This commitment to innovation has solidified their reputation as pioneers in the wrap world. Collaborating with professional chefs across Ireland, the UK, and Europe, Simpli Baked continues to lead in flavor innovation and inspire favorite wrap moments.
